It is winter here and my garden has taken a bit of hiding mostly due to strong cold winds though there are some flowers in my garden that the petals haven't been destroyed. . . It was a bit hard going on my fingers but I managed to squeeze out a tune on the guitar for this one in a style I don't normally play but my Maree likes to listen to. It was just recorded on my cell phone no fancy mikes or anything. I tried to write some simple but easy to remember lyrics.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-qTfk4v_4o
I like the laid back, swing feel of this song ...
Always hard to get a good balance between voice and banjo (or banjitar), and even though I was listening on headphones, was hard to make out the lyrics ... but what I could make ou sounded like a fun little song!!
This is quite a good song, I'm curious what you recorded it on ... ?

I know what you mean about 'not practicing slide' - I think I've finally given up on that ... but the song sounded quite good, I'fd never heard this one before ...
I appreciate you setting your phone back a bit ... Personally I think it's better when you can see the guitar as well as hear it - I always look at the guys who do videos 'professionally', and they always sit or stand with their waist upwards visible; so those young-un's still got something to teach us
The song was quite good and suited you vocally, I don't think it was 'all wrong', it wasn't perfect, but making mistakes is better than faking perfection ...

I really liked your cover of Vincent, you performed it really well, especially if you have just gotten over a cold. You managed the high notes and just the right amount of reverb on this one. Great to hear you chatting a little bit before hand as well. Big Thumbs up from me.
Thanks for the great feedback (and also from @easybeat, @Peatle @TIGLJK), sorry for the delay in replying, I'll have to start working on some September songs and catch up!
Cheers
