Hi everyone, hope your all enjoying FSOTM. 
For this MONTH of JUNE for FSOTM, looking for SUGGESTIONS for SONGS with any day of the week in it.   So, MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY and or course SUNDAY, you pick!   Any day or more than one day, cover as many days as you want!
Also looking for SUGGESTIONS of SONGS with NUMBERS in them, so pick any SONG that has a NUMBER in it.

You can do COVERS, you can do an ORIGINAL, you can even do INSTRUMENTAL only if you want.

Here were a few suggestions to get you started if you want or you can find your own songs that fit in with this month’s chosen words.

It is horrendous, but I laughed making it and maybe you could use a laugh too.

That's "Seven Bridges Road.". I don't know who wrote it. The Eagles made it famous.

Wow Zurf your on a roll!  Love it smile

So that first song you did the numbers song, I have to admit, I have never heard it before, so I will make sure to go have a listen to the original.  But you did some awesome guitar work in there on that one, must have taken you a while to learn it? Very impressive guitar work.

The second and third songs, both songs I love and remember well. 

The Second song suited you vocally and you played it well, had me singing along and tapping my feet.  I could quite easily have danced along to that one.  It is one I covered (or tried to cover) about 5 yrs ago for Chordie FSOTM but certainly didn't play it well like you do.  https://soundcloud.com/ukulelejan/sunda … ming-down. 

Finally your third song, laughs and giggles aside, you played it well, especially from memory if you haven't played it in a long time.  With a bit more practice you would totally nail it.  I love the sound of this one on guitar, there is something about the chord progression that is really appealing how it sounds.  If I could even play it like you did, I would be very impressed with myself.

On another note, anyone else got a song for us? I will endeavor to get something up this week, I have been away this weekend and have had a busy couple of weeks, so hopefully find some time this week.

I'm running a bit late with my original I was going to write, so whipping out some oldies for this months FSOTM; first up is "Blue Monday" which was a techno song in the 80's, performed acoustically on guitar:

And then we have "Honey Sunday" which was written by the drummer and bass player in this band, it's out of my vocal range and not a great performance all around (I think this was the first song we video'd after a 31 years 'break' between jams):

neophytte, your first song, Blue Monday, sounded good, nicely put together with the reverb, made it affective.
Your second and third song Honey Sunday.  In both cases the sound quality wasn't the best (and I can understand why because of the time period when equipment isn't what it is today).  The drum in both videos became the focus because of the loudness.  And agree with you,  the young girls performance was better in the 3rd video.  But I enjoyed seeing a young enthusiatic group of people getting together and jamming, having fun which is what music is all about.

Jan  Fabulous !!    I loved your voice when you dropped down for "Darling" !   I still think your vice is golden and I also still think you should try it with an acoustic guitar - maybe you could get Peatle or Brian to play for you if you don't feel comfortable.  You have what I have always said is the difference between average and great voices - uniqueness. Thanks for sharing this !
