Topic: SUPER GOOD ACOUSTICS? COLLINGS SANTA CRUZ versus MARTIN

I have acoustic GIBSON's and MARTIN's, but I had only a few minutes to play on a SANTA CRUZ guitar.
Who has experience with Santa Cruz guitars? They claim to be "the finger picking" guitar.
Are they real good? I don't know nothing about these brands, but I am very interested.
Can someone help me please

Hey man! They had an article in acoustic guitar magazine a few months back about Santa Cruz Guitars...Very Nice! I'll find the mag and scan the article into my pc and e-mail it to ya. Peace!

Re: SUPER GOOD ACOUSTICS? COLLINGS SANTA CRUZ versus MARTIN

I played a SC at a bluegrass festival this winter.   The guy at the booth saw me oogling it.  He said "Want to play it?" I said "Ohh no."  He said "How come?"  I said "Because it would be dishonest of me to even pretend that I could afford this thing."  He said "Well, yeah, but do you want to play it?"

So I did.  It was awesome.  Bright, clear, loud, comfortable, beautiful to look at.  And expensive.

Someday we'll win this thing...
