i usually love your songs and performance,but for me this one
is not quite up to your usual high standard.
hope you dont mind me saying this.
i always look forward to a new Jets song.
Of course this is only my opinion and who am i to comment anyway.

I am assuming this is about your special person.  A  fine illumination of how you see them in your life.  It flows nicely.
Might be a tad long, but if you're talking about the love of your life - it's worth every word!!

Hey Brian,

I'm sorry you didn't like it. I'm guessing you're mostly talking about my performance, but maybe the writing as well. I was trying to do more with the effects this time after I recorded it which may have distorted it some for the worse. I normally keep it simple but maybe I will but some of that out. Thanks for your comments as always. I might try and fix it up a bit or just take it down.

It sure is - I understand about the length, but I was just trying something new. It still came in at under 3 minutes to play but I get your point. Thanks for your comments.

Hi Jeff. I couldn't get it to play probably something to do with my tablet, not the ones you swallow! I'll try again tomorrow so don't take it down please. I love a love song and unlike the songs from the fifties and sixties where they cut out the best bits of a song to make it under two and a half minutes so the radio DJs would play them, a song of three minutes is perfectly acceptable, in fact I aim for three minutes or more. Give the whole story.

No worries. I'll leave it up for now. I record it usually so people can understand how to play it, or at least how I play it. I think Brian might be talking about my strumming. I decided not to fingerpick this one so it will be a little different from my usual songs.

dont take it down,im a huge fan of your usual stuff,good on you for trying something different.
not a fan of over 3 mins ,but hey its your song.
a couple of words felt forced to get a rhyme,so yeah not one of your better songs,but still pretty good me thinks.
others will disagree with me and thats great,its just my opinion and im probably wrong anyway.

Jeff your song got a lot going for it and you play guitar and sing better than I can. There is a lot of love for a special lady and a special home  environment  that's what makes your song  give of the warm fuzzy's of joy and love in the family nest..

Hey Jeff. Reading through your words describes the domestic day to day routine most of us married folk live through. I often get trouble getting Ann to sit down and chill a while. Still can't get my tablet to play it, I'll have a better chance later on my pc.

Gotta say Jeff...I like it. Not your usual style, more pop than country. As I said above it tells a tale of domestic normality, and the affection you, me and most of the worlds husbands have for their womenfolk.
