This song was inspired by Peatle. His work always has that effect on me. He posted a song yesterday in blues style, I wish I had his blues y voice...

Cheers Piri I struggle to get gas in my tank to keep my old blues voice going. It nowadays takes many cups of hot lemon and honey tea passed through my throats throttle to get it to even make something near to a good sound. My health in recent years has taken its toll on my pipes. I the love the innuendo of your lyrics on "Don't Keep Your Motor Running" the old girl, she has lost her spark and yet she burns up the gas.

I'm glad you got the innuendo, to me it started as a break-up song using car parts as a metaphor, but after the second verse it got to be like hard work trying to be dirty yet clean?

Was walking around the forum and found this song. The lyrics are wonderful. The first time I heard a song about car parts.
