Ship of life

Just  finished  writing  this , I  haven't  had  time  to  record  it  yet  but if you  play it  with  a  bit  of  a  marching  strum  you'll  get  what  I'm aiming  for .and  probably  what  it's  about .

The  heavens  opened

The  people  sheltered

From  the deluge

they  had  to hide

and  every body

had  to  stay  in side

We ride  the  waves

Despite the  troubles

and  the  strife

we sail  the  ship

The  ship  that  we  call  life

We had  some  friends

we lost  a  few

But  most  survived

to see it  through

We  will  stand  tall

because  were  strong

Here in this  place

this  place  where  we belong
