Topic: Do It All Again
Here's one I wrote tonight. Again, relating to what some of us are going through.

[G]Woke up today the usual way in this [D]weird old time.
Went to make the coffee but found it already [G]made.
Poured myself a cup then I sat my[C]self on down.
[G]Tried to figure out [D]what we’re gonna do to[G]day.

Well we’re [G]not going to go and have ourselves a [D]shopping spree.
We’re not going to do any window shopping [G]too.
Places all are closed where I would [C]want to go, so
I [G]guess I’ll stay at home and [D]spend my day with [G]you.

And we might [C]hang out in the yard,
Or [G]dive into a book ,
Or [C]learn to make that recipe
That we’ve [G]always wanted to cook.
We could [C]watch the newest movie,
Or maybe [G]re-watch Gone With the [Em]Wind.
Then we’ll [G]wake up the next day and
[D]Do it all a[G]gain.

Sure enough the day is starting off with rain again.
Been coming down like this every other day.
Supposed to clear up with the sun rising into the sky
If only the weather will do what the weather men say.

Doesn’t really matter. We’re not going anywhere anyway
While the world is spinning on like it doesn’t care.
People are acting strange. I’m not sure who all to believe.
The safest plan is not to go anywhere.

But we might hang out on the deck.
Do it all again.
Knock out some D I Ys,
Or maybe today you can pick
Something sure to surprise.
How about we order take out.
Have a nice romantic meal and then
We can wake up the next day and
Do it all again.
