I will survive (cover) PERREN/FEKARIS

Thanks - it's a Rode lavalier mic like this one:

I got the 'headset' part from a cheap $8 mic on eBay, and pulled that off and hot glued the Rode in it's place ... this goes directly into my iPhone and I use one a bluetooth camera switch to turn it on and off ... that, coupled with a stand for the phone, is about all I use.

The guitar and vocal all come through the one microphone, and it's sometimes hard to get the distance right to pick up the voice and guitar equally, but I've found a little bit of post-processing in Logic helps before mixing it all down in iMovie ...

With this song I did a bit of experimenting with the EQ and applied an 'auto wah' sound to the one sounds most associated with the guitar, and reverb to the ones most associated with my voice. So don't use a PA or amp throughout, and the computer is just used at the end of the process.
