Topic: Super hero

I've  been a bit  busy   of  late  so  this  is  the  first  chance  I've  had  to post  a new  song .
Its  called  Super hero   and  its  about  when  every  on relies on you and wants  a  piece of  your  day and all  you  want  to  do  is  go  home  and  relax  with  those you  love .
Acoustic  start  with  a  rock  chorus   hope  you like  it . I'll do  a  recording  when I  get  chance .

This is fantatsic, Graham, and could be sub-titled "The Ballad of the Capable". For everyone who won't stand on their own two feet (I didn't say "can't") there has to be someone giving more of themselves than their own needs demand. Givers and takers ... you've expressed it very well at how exhausting it is to be a "giver". Bravo, man!

Nice recording, great song, great hook. I never feel like a super hero but I do seem to have acquired the title of "Grampa will fix it"
You call this a demo, do you plan a full band recording? I'd love to hear that.

Thanks for  the  positive  comments  guys . Phill  I do plan   to  do this   with  a  full  on rock chorus  and  a guitar solo   I  think  it  has  potential .I  also  have  a  couple  of  other  songs  I  need  to  do  with  a  full  band   but  its  difficult at  the  moment  as  the drummer situation hasn't  really  improved   ,I  did  get  together   with  a  couple  of  guys  over   in  Hebden  Bridge the  other  month   but  my schedule   is  getting  in the  way  at  the moment  so its  hard  to  make  time  for   studio  sessions  but  I  seriously need   to get an album together .

Gray One! I left a note on YT, but here I'll say I think Ray Davies and/or Joe South (rip) would be envious. This one has some real "introspection and hits home with me and I bet a lot of other dads and husbands. I hope you put it together into a rock song for your band and hope you'll consider playing it on Father's Day! wink
