CAREFUL EVERYONE,, ITS A HAPPY START!

Take my hand

Broken Bone
A decade of Joy stolen away.
Safety of home too long unknown
Kindness taken for granted
Used to advantage

In the time of trial,
Look to the light, take my hand
And we will walk the mile.
You are too pretty to hide your smile.

Our lives both have a complications
But better days are on the way.
For you, removing the most negative aspect that could actually exist.
For me learning harsh truths about myself
The desire to never let them happen again

So walk the mile with me
Let us see what will be
Hand in hand we can make the stand
Face the future with a smile,
Never again be torn down.
Never again push the other to a deliberate frown.

In the time of trial,

beamer This is another beautiful poem by you and  you say so much between the lines. Nicely done and  it makes you a better person after reading it.

Lots of insight and introspection in this one, Beamer, and some very positive hopes as well. You've been "baring your soul" in a lot of your recent work, and that takes courage. Adding courage and hope together is a powerful mix for better days ... nice work!
