Just picked up a 30 watt Laney line backer that I won on EBay for 20 pounds. A quick test and it seems ok I just needed a basic amp that would take my pedal board or my acoustic.I have a couple of line 6 spiders but they are way too loud for most small bars and my orange tiny terror is a little too dirty with my acoustic so I m hoping this will fill the bill and as it cost next to nothing that's great
congrats on your bargain buy. i use a laney too, i think it's a 65 watt, but it can be turned down.

know you must be happy with your purchase. I think sometimes too many are looking for perfection and overlooking at the true cost. If it gets the job done than what more do you need.,
True CG I always buy on a budget and have had good results with most of my purchases Having now tested the amp it sounds fine in the house just need to try it with the band now but that will be after Xmas.
Just looked 'em up, Graham, and the 30-watt Laney seems perfectly suited for the uses you describe. Love the portability, and what a bargain you got!
