Michael Bourke wrote:I'm with you on the collection of paper versions......I'm over it! My friend and I rehearse on Tuesday nights but only play for friends and the occasional 'open mic'. But having the tablet means no more paper, no more light problems at night, no my breeze problems etc etc. I still have an old briefcase full of books and sheets but I'll slowly put the ones I want into SongBook and then shred the rest. By the way, SongBook also has a hand internet search link. I like Chordie because it allows me to import directly to SongBook with the chord notations in place. Easy peasy.
Sounds good - can you synchronise with DropBox or iCloud?
I think OnSong has a search facility, but I've tended to download a copy, fix any issues then pop the song into my DropBox account (using an "artist_songtitle.crd" style of naming convention) and synchronise it from there, as I also use "SongSheet Generator" on my Mac (and/or PC) which allows me to make PDF's for the older folk, as they haven't got the app ... (although I'm slowly talking them around to it) ...
