ok not really sure where this post should be but...
uh ok what is the proper name for this chord?

D7sus4.
Its got two D's so its the most likely. The low G is the sus4 part because it is the fourth note in Dmaj, the C on the A string is the 7th. The other three notes go DAD, which is a D power chord.

Is the X the high or low E?
If it's like I think the low E (and you have turned the chord 180) that chord is a Cadd9...

oh yeah i meant it to be the low e.... srry 'bout that i always call the bottom the top and the top the bottom for some reason

And use revers chord find (upside down chords won't work) :-)
