Another nice one, Jim! I would make one suggestion, however: Take the word "little" [girl] and substitute another word.

Well, since you asked: smile   Take a look at the song as a whole, Jim.  I think you may need to explain the whole thing as a dream, because it would just be too fantastic any other way, don'tcha think? What I mean is, how many times do you think that happens in real life? I'd leave skid marks gettin' outta there screaming "FEMALE SEXUAL HARRASSMENT!!!"  were that to happen to me. If I were writing it, I might put "fair young maid" in there, but with the bus, you made it contemporary, so I don't know......

Maybe use the syllables in "fair young maid" and use something more fitting.

I just changed it Bill - made it more realistic  - like a girl he had  known all along - but somehow overlooked.

you never cess to amaze me at how quickly you able to turn songs out! You are truly gifted in this area!  Another great song!  One suggestion though .....in the chorus the line  "She always knows how to make me feel just right" I would take out the word ALWAYS because when reading through the song, its  talking about a girl who hardly knew the guy and who asked him to stay.......... so as the song goes along every time the word ALWAYS comes up, to me it sounds like she has known him for a LONG time.  Hope that makes sense what i am trying to say.   Otherwise, great song smile

You certainly know how to display your talent, this one certainly does just that.

I kept getting a different vibe one that the main character is on the edge and about to go over but the "girl" talks him down? With that in mind I would change "rain" to clouds?

Haven't tried it yet but my fingers are itching
