Topic: Our spring break

Greetings. 

This is spring brake for the kids (and wife) this week.  We spend 3 days in the Olympic national forest at a place called the Kalaloch lodge, we had a cabin (glamping sorta LOL).  Monday the sun was nice enough to come out for us. Tuesday, not so much, but we didnt let that stop the fun.  I posted a lot on FB, but will add some downsized shots here.  We went to the rock outcroppings with teh tidal pools and me and the boys had a blast. It was raining the whole time and we didn't care.  Yours truely was stepping from one set of rocks to the next and promptly slipped and went right leg in the water and a lot of the left LOl but I made it. (we were a bit surprised how quick the tide seemed to cover up teh path we took) but it was all fun and no hurts to report.  My boys were all smiles, unless I wanted pictures with them! LOL  they just wouldn't smile! LOL.  SO if you have FB check out the file inmy photo section Ijust uploaded along with the vids.  and ill post a few here tomorrow. its 730pm and I am the only one who has to get up early tomorrow! sad

Kalaloch is one of my favorite places on Earth.   We used to camp out there a ton when I was a kid, and when my kids were still interested in camping, we went out there all the time.

Someday we'll win this thing...

Sounds like a fantastic way to spend time with your family, Beamer. My Dad brought me up with a love of the outdoors, that continues to this day. And your children won't forget those experiences you shared with them.
