Topic: SONG TIGLJK

I re-wrote this song, and re-recorded it.
I hope you like it or at least provide some constructive feedback to improve it.  ( except for the " play guitar better" or OMG quit singing"  - b/c my wife already gave me those hints!  smile

She is proudest when the old adage " silence is golden"  comes in to play.
I actually now have a small room where I can play and record ,so it works out fine.
I think my guitar playing is improving slowly ..........- my singing - well probably never wink - but its just the way it goes. I'm never gonna be tall either smile

TIGJK  I always like to  read and hear you perform your songs. You are a folk singer who is the only one who can truly feel what you write about. Really nice.

Thank you for feedback.

Phill- If I actually knew how to write a waltz maybe it could sound like one. smile  I think they are 3/4 time or something, but I don't know how that would go chord wise.   
and Yep - pretty much all of my songs revolve around emotion or a story to tell.
Jan-  Lol -  Just when I think I have it - something new pops in my head - hence the changes - until finally I like it or give up smile I'm glad that you tried it .

Both of you ( or anyone else)  - love to hear your version of it someday , if you have the time.

after two days of snow ( 43" in total) it's back to work!

Jan - with apologies - here is a new version smile

Phill - I don't know what a waltz goes like - but I know this isn't it ! smile  However - what you said got me thinking - and so I put a new spin on it with different chords - a couple of minor lyric changes and came up with this.

I like it better than the first version.   Jan - I promise I won't change it any more smile  !!!

Hi Jim, left comments on Sound Cloud, great song written by your once again smile  I have to say, i think i prefer it sung with the chords of the first song rather than the G chord, i thought it may have been a little to deep for you voice?  where as the original song the chords seem to suit your voice better ..... just in my opinion smile  But either way great song, lyrics fab once again smile

it's difficult for me to voice songs because I 'm not much of a singer.
