Nice!
Every day the almost-two-year-old and I sit down and sing songs. I play guitar. She plays the uke. The song goes like this. (It's in G, if you cared)
La lalaa lala la la la la lalalala la la la la laaa.
Sometimes she changes it up to "Lala la la lalalalala la la la".
Which works, too.
Nice kids song you wrote there EB. I will leave atttachment here to one I wrote recently for Kids. https://soundcloud.com/eatleville/cat-wont
Well, one of my kids wrote a song to make fun of my taste in forlorn Americana tunes. Her song is called, "My Girlfriend Ran Off With a Train," and it is a riot.
not to be pedantic but these posts should be in either songwriting, my local band or poems. having got that out of the way i think it's a great idea. i've left my reply in poems so i don't get shouted at
Hello Easybeat I thought best way maybe around a kids song is to get a seven year old involved. This song called Brians Banjjo is composed just for you. Your friends down this way know you love Banjo so this is all for you. The Kid was fun to work with descided what she wanted sung, Considering her age I thought it was good. Only trouble we had is because she likes to dance while singing I had to keep putting her back close enough to the microphone to pickup the vocals. So thats why some of the vocals are not that clear.
What a classic Peatle.
thanks for the song & the conversation
since we been talking about kids songs,i can`t get it out of my system.
i`ve written quite a few this week.
thanks.

Well done easybeat, nice and simplic lyrics with a catchy tune and quite playful. Poor wee mouse in that house .....i can almost see it happening.

Sounds like you both had fun in the making of that Peatle
Thank you Jandle for taking the time to have a listen. It was fun having a seven year old to help compose the vocal side. She was a delight and I would have loved to had a video made of the sesion. I will attach a video of Kids lyrics being used to create a song for a fund raiser for sick children. Song at end of the bits with kids doing their inyterviews contributing lyrics. .
While we try to teach our children all about life,
Our children teach us what life is all about.
