Topic: D/C Chord

I recently came across D/C chord. It goes like this:

-2-
-3-
-2-
-0-
-3-
-x-

My question is: which finger is used to play this C note on A string?

"Pull your head back /Hold your hands high /Shake your body
And it's too loud /And you put them up fill your heads
With heavy metal thunder"

Re: D/C Chord

Hi lupin_z

I usually use my pinky for the C note. There are other ways but it's works for me.
It depends how you finger the DChord.

Hope this helps.

Re: D/C Chord

Barre 2nd fret,GB&E strings with pointer finger, middle finger on 3rd fret of the B string, then ring finger on 3rd fret of the A string. The C replaces the D as the  main root bass note so therefore it's OK to mute the D string. This will happen naturally with your ring finger as you're playing the 3rd fret of the A string.

Give everything but up.
