Topic: Look what I had in my hands today!!

I had never even heard of a Fender Bullet until I was asked to repair this one. Produced between 1965 and 1981 this one has the serial number 102621 and it was made in 1965 ('65 serial numbers run from 100000 to 110000).

Telecaster serials ran that way, but everything on the internet, including the guy that designed it,  says that model wasn't produced until 1981.

Nice axe, though!

Thanks Jerome, the info I got was supposed to be about the Bullet but I know there is a lot of garbage posted so I am not surprised, I thought it looked in good nick for that age smile.

Saw that one and it immediately reminded me of the Wonderful Hank Marvin of The Shadows, Roger.

That may not be the same model (I know yours is called a "Bullet" and its far left body is cut sharper), but still, I can't see that guitar without hearing and seeing him playing "Apache"!

The Stratocaster was the 'Hank' guitar, although from a post of yours I understand he used many others too. This was unusual as the scratch plate was metal with a turned up end to house the bridge parts and fix the strung ends.

I have never heard of one before either.  It does have the same bridge as a Duo Sonic. Oddball fenders are some of the coolest guitars.
