Re: Jam Sunday
That cat on the slide can really go ... man o man! I don't recall ever hearing anyone play one like that before. Great find, BGD!

Had a couple crazy weeks (including losing a canoe and finding it a day later) but we are back on track! Govt Mule:
No better way than Jerry and the guys to kick off your thread, BGD! That's a sweet looking custom guitar he's got there, with what look to be P90's for pickups ... all tricked out!
Thanks for this ... looking forward to more!
"......all tricked out!" is right, TF!
Apparently Jerry's "Tiger" has a little compartment built into the back of it and from there I'll let you use your imagination.
Great way to begin your new segment, BGD!

Maybe y'all will enjoy this one as well? Hope so.

I shall tune that in during work tomorrow!
Excellent track, BGD ... never heard of Gov't Mule before. Their pianist is dynamite!
Haven't seen an entry here for a couple of weeks, so I hope BGD doesn't mind of I post one. Here are two keyboard greats, hamming it up at the 2011 Sunflower Jam:
Sorry tf been a crazy few weeks, getting ready to move. Thanks for helping. Looked like fun. Love that suit.
Day late and a dollar short here folks, but this is Moksha from Las Vegas, NV:

Looks like these guys are having a blast! I was wondering about the costumes, until I read the comment below about it being at a Halloween gig. Now I have to have a Captain Crunch hat ... good one, BGD!
A few hours early as who knows what hanging w Topdown tomorrow will bring:

Dave.
Dang ... that's real good! Who's the dude on the fiddle? He's got crazy skills!
Boyd Tinsley. All the players are monsters. Drummer is Carter Beauford, one of the best to ever hold sticks in my opinion.
Enjoy Phish https://youtu.be/BFpYodoXH10
Another great group I've never heard of ... good stuff, BGD. Keep 'em coming!
Haven't heard from them in a WHILE! Nice one BGD!

The started out as basically a Grateful Dead cover band back in the 80's and grew into their own sound. The lead guitar player, Trey Anastasio, played with Dead & Co last year for the 5 "Fare Thee Well Tour" shows.
Also With Bruce Hornsby on piano, I might add.
That concert is available for purchase now. Just started watching it this weekend. What a show.
Happy Sunday! Here's some jazz jammin to start your week.

Wow! Nice find BGD! Keep em coming! The amazing part here isn't just the notes these guys are picking out, but the technique too. There's a lot going on to make those notes on the Sax pop that can't be seen. Amazing reed work!
bgd good song thanks.
This was a real treat to watch & listen to, BGD ... thanks. Like MKM said, there's a lot going on to take in, which makes it even better.
Meet Tauk!
Good choice.
Holy freakin' holy this is soooooo good! This young man sure knows how to use a Delay properly, and most can't. BGD ... you just gave birth to a new TAUK fan. Thanks!
