Topic: toast!

you know how toast always lands butter side down when you drop it? it seems the same thing happens if your guitar gets knocked over!

i was loading the car up saturday night when i bumped the guitar case and of-course it landed string side down and i realised that every time that's happened it will always land that way. anybody else noticed that?

ps, it played ok so no damage, there surely is a place in heaven for whoever invented the hard case

Re: toast!

i wish i could do that but my man-cave does not allow for spacing everything out, i have to stack stuff on top of each other then put them on something else till it's their turn to go into the car. a place for everything and everything in it's place....til they have to be moved.

Re: toast!

I certainly agree with you, Phill, about the value of archtop cases. That extra layer to absorb impact can make all the difference. I've had a few close-calls where a good case saved my guitar from my own clumsiness ... money well spent.

Re: toast!

Have you tried buttering the other side of the case?
