Yes, a big congrats to Portugal!

It's ironic that Iceland played such a huge role in the whole championship. If not for their late goal against Austria, Portugal wouldn't have even made it to the final. Funny how such a small country played such a big part in the tournament. Well done, Eder Martins, and well done Portugal!

That was an awesome game ! 
Both teams had chances.... both showed tremendous grit. 
The crowd was great, classy play by both teams.

I was pleased that Portugal won. For an hour after the road alongside the bar I was at was nose to tail with cars moving at a snail's pace or stationary, horns were honking incessantly, and people were driving down the road, hanging out of their windows, waving flags and cheering (the police were turning a blind eye). There was such jubilation and I got several big hugs from some very pretty young ladies, including the 4 in this car. wink big_smile
