Nice choice for the start of the thread! That guy doesn't have very many videos up, which is too bad. Excellent playing! I don't know how people manage to do that, though I could listen to it all day!

I cannot fathom how many hours of practice that was required for that performance..
I don’t even know how he remembers all of the movements and notes, never mind the flawless execution

With my old beat up hands I'm just lucky to even be playing. Playing lead notes faster than a snail's pace (fretting hand) or using my fingers independently for finger picking is something I just can't do, now. 6 hand surgeries have left me with fingers that are stiff, swollen (most of the time) and just don't work for that type of playing. For now, I can manage to be a decent strummer as long as I stay with the open chords and a few barre chords thrown into the mix. I would love to be able to play fingerstyle but I know my limitations.

Fantastic! I've always enjoyed Queens music. I think Tuesday's Flying Fingers is going to be fun.
Wow! What a great player! I enlarged my screen just to watch his (long) fingers fly over that fretboard! He captured every word, every nuance of Freddy's voice and Brian's playing. Haven't seen anything like it! Thanks, TF!

PS: From reading the comments I see that somebody knows him. 
Whoever he is, he shows admirable humility in his introductory remarks to his video, crediting the arrangement and not his playing.

The beauty of this style is that virtually every genre of music can be adapted / arranged for it. Even folk who wouldn't normally listen to AC/DC (like me) can appreciate and enjoy the artistry and musicality when a piece is interpreted this way.

He must practice 23 hours a day. SSS and eat for 45 Mins then record this for 15 mins.

He plays sweet child of mine as well - in which he plays two guitars - not an amazing feat - except of course UNLESS YOU'RE PLAYING THEM AT THE SAME TIME!

I feel exhilarated and inspired after watching this, but also depressed at the same time knowing that he can do that and I can't come remotely close.
I don't think it would matter what guitar he brings to a campfire - he can make a $15.00 guitar sing !

What's neat about watching this style, is that it awakens our own imagination about what can be done with a guitar. I'm not even at 10% of this level in ability, but have found myself trying some of the techniques these people use. The percussive stuff is very enjoyable, so I've been tapping, thumping, and knuckle-rapping my guitar in various ways to add some color ... and it's kinda fun.
I love when people like that make the accoustic guitar talk. They turn the solo instrument into a choir with full orchestration. The best I ever managed with a guitar is to make it mumble slightly.

Croatian-born Ms. Vidovic is considered a virtuoso guitarist, even though she's only in her mid-30's. She began playing at the age of 8, was performing internationally at 11, and was the youngest person ever to attend the prestigious Zagreb Academy of Music at just 13. "The Grammophon" once remarked on her extraordinary dexterity ... something we call flying fingers !

Here's how to ruin the finish of a guitar. Jon obviously doesn't care, because the music comes first. Great use of innovative percussion techniques, and very infectious. Strummerboy Bill referred (in another thread) to a technique sometimes used to detune a guitar while playing. Jon doesn't do it this video, but if you check out "Passionflower", you'll see him making full use of his interesting tuning peg configuration to do this. Rhinos ... dance on!
