....Loved too have seen but never did?


Well, we've got the bands you have seen thread going, pretty good one as well I reckon.



But, what about that ONE band you never managed to see? Maybe they were split up before your time, maybe your woman/man made you choose...the gig or me..in which case she/he should have been slung out!!  <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_lol.gif" border=0 alt="Laughing"> 

Perhaps you never 'got' them at the time or didn't do gigs at the time.


Anyway, who is that one group or artiste you wished you had seen and why?




For me it's The Clash. 


The Beatles, Zeppelin, Kinks, Sex Pistols etc were all in with a shout, but the sheer energy, lyrical content and musical diversity of The Clash swung it in the end.


Everyone of the groups mentioned were all split up by the time I hit gig going age, so I'm off back too 1979 for a Clash gig! <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif" border=0 alt="Smile">

hands down .

never going to happen but I can always watch

the song remains the same.It's the closest thing to the real thing.

The Doors. Nothing can compare to a Doors show when they were on. Course nothing as bad as a Doors show when they were off. I've seen footage but too young to have gone to a show.

im with u all on zeppelin. i was tempted to catch a plane to london to watch page and plant perform together on the so called 'reunion' concert. im gonna go try to find the concert on youtube haha
