Gidday,
In recent times i`ve taken to searching out less well known artists.(Chordians also)
I love the singer song writers,just vocal & guitar. Real music.
Currently i`m listening to Nadia Read/Courtney Barnett/Jake Bugg
What are you listening to?
I`m interested in looking up any of your suggestions.

G'day! I have been listening to Nathaniel Rateliffe and the Night Sweats, great stuff. Also my favourites, Harry Manx and Kelly Joe Phelps. From the land down under...

i like Van too,but theres some great young artists making terrific music.
Not the chart stuff or the stuff on the radio.
But good country/folk/indie/roots/acoustic  honest music.
Also i really like The Milk Carton Kids  kinda a modern Simon & Garfunkal

Great discussion ... good idea, EB. Lately, I've been listening to a lot of music from two different styles in particular:

Fingerstyle Guitar:  Don Ross, Spencer Elliott, Luca Stricagnoli, Michael Chapdelaine, Calum Graham, Antoine Dufour, etc.

Prog Rock:   Mostly Autumn, IQ, Unitopia, Echolyn, Believe, Moongarden, Gryphon, etc.

I am soooooo glad we don't have to rely on the radio airwaves to find good music. Their focus is so narrow that they virtually ignore 98% of what's available.

I've been using the artists from featured albums in the back of Acoustic Guitar to select tunes from Freegal. Lots of neat new stuff out there.

Granted B chord amnesty by King of the Mutants (Long live the king).
