So l supose I'd better put a couple of greatful dead songs into the set? Any suggestions ,last time i saw em was 1972 at the Bickershaw festival in the UK a couple of years ago I got a set of live recordings of their set from that gig but there at home in Greece and not with me in the UK
Might I suggest Jack-A Roe. Simple 4 chord progression.

The lyrics are in my songbook. Although whoever put it together didn't separate the versus.

If you prefer something more complex there's this.

And this was always a favorite of mine for a closer. From one of the scores of shows I attended.

mekidsmom ..... there is my sound cloud photo you are welcome to use for ukulele if that is any good to you. I will have a hunt and see what else i have but most of my ukulele photos are large groups of people who dont even come on chordie. I will check it out and see what i can find. I have no idea how to post a photo on chordie either by the way.

Thank You UJB. Not a pretty sight. But that`s me/
Great shot of you and the White Falcon, JJJ. I suppose you'd need a very wide-angle lense to get you in a shot will all your guitars, but your Gretsch is a real beauty.
I like the photos you put up Graham! I also like your profile pic though:
Jan, do you mean this photo with yourself and the Uke?
I didn't resize those yet, but I did a few of mine. I'll probably just go through everyone's posts later (or tomorrow on my day off) and resize all the submissions.
Jim likes this one for Campfire songs:
I like this one (ha ha)
Beginners??
Here's a preview of your reward....
Hey! That' a familiar looking jar.
I have this for either blues or rock
Anyone know if we can embed from FB? I have a couple suggestions.
Well, this is me the day I got my Rogue Beatle Bass. Notice no cable to amp, but I was so excited I couldn't wait. The shirt is one I saw Don McLean wear on one of the videos we have and yeah, I also forgot to put on my boots.
Thanks for considering this one.
Bill
PS: That's Emmylou in the background.
Bgd if you go to propertys on the face book pic and copy the url then type at the end the picture will post
Nice pic Bill.
country and western.
The reason I like this one is because often the layperson doesn't realize how much practice it takes to "be together" on any song. Here you have a perfect example of a band at work.
It worked! Here are three more:
Electric or My Local Band and Me
Topdown! Acoustic?
Acoustic
Edited because I can't count.
Still can't work out how to put a photo on.
Using my iPad.
Awesome photos guys (and Jandle, although I posted that one... well... I couldn't leave us gals out)! Keep them coming!
Only one thing to mention... for any of the photos to be used, you need to make certain that you have EXPLICIT permission from anyone in the photos to use the photo for any possible reason that our almighty admin may deem to use it! This can become a huge legal issue later on down the road, and it's the reason the suggestion was to make certain the photo is only of yourself. It's kind of difficult to say, "eh, it's fine, Jimmy Jo Bob won't mind" - and then to have our amazing admin get sued a year from now because Jimmy Jo Bob became famous and wants his cut from the profits of Chordie (which, for the record, I don't think any profits exist. Yes, there are ads on the site - but - running a website like this isn't free either. I highly doubt there's a profit margin when one considers the coding time, etc put into this website either. If there is, then I say Kudos! He deserves it! It's still free for us!).
Anyway - That's just my little reminder. I don't know what pics our admin will choose. That's up to him, as is any possible legal ramifications. If you'd like those photos considered though, please make sure you talk to the other people in them and ensure that they are in agreement to have their image used! AND - make sure you make a note here on the forums that you've done so! Cross the T's and dot those I's!
I'll be back later or tomorrow to try to organize these a little, resize them, make sure we have the suggestions for categories correct, all that jazz! If you didn't submit a suggested category and there's one you'd like your photo included in, please do mention that!
UJB - I've saved most of the jars for you! I expect to see you SOMETIME next year and will happily return them! I might even bake more cookies.
I own the rights to all of the pics I've submitted with the exception of the one of me and Jeff, but I don't think he will mind. (See what I did there?)
As an aside, minors require the consent of a guardian, not their own. Also, a strong argument can be made that use of these photos is covered under fair use as Chordie is an educational site. But I understand the conservative approach. Might as well avoid a headache.

And I have your empty cookie container. Although I'm holding it hostage. I will release it when there is a full one to take it's place.
I'm still pondering Jim's offer of another weekend in the spring while I explore other- more local options.
If the admin should decide to use the photo of me that you posted for the campfire section, I'm OK with that. I will forego the millions in ad revenue it will surly generate.
that's funney ujb you holding the empty cookie container hostage.
mekidsmom, yes that photo and thanks for putting it up for me as wasn`t sure how to do it. All the other photos i have of ukulele are with other people and i would have to get all their permission etc and they don`t even belong to chordie anyway
Roger Guppy, thanks for that, i will check that out next time i have to put up photos
Everyone: liking all the photos ... great to see you all in action with guitars
I'd post some photos of me, but we don't have a drunk fat guy category.

Zurf some of those photos of your Chordie stock gatherings look very cool for the campfire photos or sing along

Do not worry about shoes, You know that Ronnie Van Zant never wore shoes on stage, no matter how hot it was he was bare footed
Why did Ronnie go barefoot on stage?
"He didn’t like shoes, they always bothered him. He’d kick them off whenever we were practicing or anywhere else he could. I think because it was just always so hot where we were in Florida. We noticed some people not wearing shoes on stage, like the singer from Three Dog Night and there were a few others. Shoes bothered Ronnie anyway. We all thought it looked cool."
- From 5 questions with Gary Rossington.
Steven Wilson usually goes barefoot as well (Porcupine Tree et al).
