Re: thanksgiving

Right back at ya Dino, and wish all Chordians a wonderful day.

Live in the "now" - a contentment of the moment - the past is gone - the future doesn't exist - all we ever really have is now and it's always "now".

Re: thanksgiving

Best Wishes to everyone from your friends here in the Pacific Northwest!!   Where the sun is shining, trees are shedding Fall Colours, the bird is filling the house with welcoming aromas (cooking that is), and tonight it will be down around -3c (25f for we Colonists).

Enjoy the day, your families, friends, and above all be safe out there if you are traveling.

Please post your question in the "Song Requests" section of the Forums rather than in some random active thread, and you might get a better response.  and Thanks.

ETA link:  ultimateguitar.com has the tune in power-tab and tab-pro if you want to check there, otherwise it wasn't one of George's more popular tunes and not easy to locate (in most of my common search areas).

Hi everyone from across the pond. I hope you all had a great thanksgiving.
Just one small point. Doug, I see your spelling of colours is the same as ours this side of the pond! I did'nt think you used the u.

Re: thanksgiving

KIR,  I use both spellings interchangably.  I grew up overseas and most of my early teachers were British and naturally "sticklers" on spelling, grammar and the proper use of the English Language.  I've however grown sloppy in my  old age...... it's an American thing, to toss off the "extra" vowels on a whim. Generally both are acceptable in writing although I did get called out on it at Uni by an English Professor who hailed from......South Carolina!  "Yawl shud use gud spellin cuz I mark down if'n yew don't.".    wink

edited to correct improper use of smilie (or smiley or smily or ???)
