We probably all "aspire" to play at a certain level of ability, and have favorite styles. I've been absorbed by the guitarists in the fingerstyle genre for the last several years, and have started taking some micro-steps in that direction. Here's one of many that are too good for words:

Funster, just watched your link- I'm at a loss for words, my jaw is still on the floor! How does one learn to play like that?

wow !!! I listened to the " Last of the Mohicans" rendition - I think just as powerful. it would take me a lifetime of practice to be able to play just one song like that. He is amazing.

Luca's only 24 years old (born in 1991) which makes this all the more impressive. They all use alternate tunings, with DADGAD being the more common amongst them. They're a breed apart, to be sure, and I just love this style of playing. The need for werewolf claws on the right hand would freak some people out, but that seems to be a prerequisite to play this style effectively. Here's another beauty by Stricagnoli:

OMG, one question; does he have bones in his fingers? his make mine look like a bunch of bananas.
on stage you have to do several things at the same time; 1. remember the words you have to sing, and the ones that come next 2. remember and play the chords using both hands ( or lead parts). 3. keep in the right place. these are simple things compared to what this guy was doing; two (sometimes three) guitars in unison, playing a beat, bass notes, lead notes and rhythm all at the same time. i am so impressed and admittedly jealous. i had reached a standard at 24 and never progressed further though i would never have got to his standard. thanks TF for showing me a true musician and depressing me at the same time. no, seriously thanks

I don't know why so many of them favor the fan-shaped fret design. Others have the 7th string (a bottom "B") that makes a lot of sense for a lot of reasons, like when the bass player doesn't show up! 
Rondo sells one for $425 (www.rondomusic.com/product8066.html) but it's not a purchase I'd consider unless my playing gets a whole lot better.

I realise now I can't play guitar, and I'm to thick for law school, but 2,3,4 and 5 I can manage.
