Topic: NEWS FROM THE GADGET GROUND
There is since a while a (VERY) interesting device on this planet, PLANET CHORDIE.
It is called: String Master Guitar Tuner and is unlike any guitar tuner we are familiar with.
It looks as an item to open a bottle of wine, but that's just the look.
You have them for about 50$ electric guitar tuner, and 20$ acoustic ( called guitar adapter).
You put the device up on your tuner, let's on the E string, you touch the string, and it turns automaticily and you get a crystal clear tune. Very easy to use ON STAGE, ON THE ROAD, and at HOME. No turning for 5 minutes to get the tone right.
It is also the only guitar tuner that can re-string your guitar; automatically unwinding the old string and winding the new string with a push of a button. You put your guitar string in the tuner, a the B string need to be placed this device will do 2 things
- unrolling the brolen, or bad string.
- winding the new B-string, using this device into the sound of the B-string is reached.
This a VERY EASY TO USE DEVICE.
I agree with a lot of you,
- YES I am able to tune a guitar, listening to the sound.
- YES I have 2 tuner devices.
- YES they work pretty good.
ADVANTAGE: a far more and an easy in use, GUITAR TUNER.
Who knows more?, who has experience? and of course our "classic pro's and con's"

www.musicianfriend.com here they are 10$ cheaper, critics are very, very good device for starters, the more experienced guitar players, playing for years, prefer a more expensive classic tuner, because of the (is it ??) fact that when you start working with this, it's hard to go in open tuning. Critics like this are sounding in my ear as, very easy-in-use little gadget, but A GOOD ALL GUITAR TUNER is all you need. I can't answer this, I have 2 "stand alone" tuners and 4 others in my amp and my floorboards, but it feels to me a-must-have-item
- MY GUITAR PLAYS EVERY STYLE = BLUES, ROCK, METAL, so I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY IT.
