Topic: What has happened to Chordie ?
the site has become really messed up. Song words jumbled on different lines. Song list not closing once opened. What has happened or does anyone even care?

Sorry to hear that Lou and welcome to Chordie. It must be on your end - everythings fine here. Check out some of the stickies, you might learn the source of your problem and how to correct it. Let us know how you make out. I'm sure one of the more computer minded members will be along shortly to give you some help.
Thanks for posting Lou, but in order to better locate a problem and solution we do need a bit more info from you. Is it all songs, or just a particular one, and the artist and title if you please. If it was a particular song book in the "public" group, which one? More specific the better so we can duplicate your issue.
A quick general wandering around seems all as it should be running Linux on a Firefox browser, with ABP and Ghostery the current hardware is HP laptop.
Thanks again for reporting a problem, we can't fix what we don't know about.
I'm with Doug, I don't see anything funky going on here either. Where are you seeing this? What type of device are you using? Browser? Browser version?
Has to be your device Lou. A few weeks ago I brought a new mobile phone, and browsing this site is almost impossible with adverts covering the page. It never happened with the previous phone, and it doesn't happen with my desktop, laptop or tablet. So as I am thick as two short planks where IT is concerned, it's easier just to tether the tablet to the phone. It works for me.
