Thanks to all of you who helped me with this. I'm going to try to play all the versions through, no matter the chord changes. I'd feel as if I were ungrateful and unattentive of your time, if I didn't do this, and that isn't me. So I will play them through and sound cloud them as soon as things settle down here a bit.

I love the way people are having a go at your lyrics. I would like to see a International  movement formed called
If Sunshine Were Mine. With all sorts of musicians giving their take on your lyrics to that song  and putting them up on soundcloud. I have put my version up on  soundcloud under Peatle Jville which I think is not that good but the best I could do so at the moment I place myself at third place getter.
So far three countries have submitted I would like to hear more from every where. Mo and Phill love your versions.
I hope more New Zealanders would give it ago as the Northern Hemisphere has got the lead at the moment.

Forgive the lateness of the reply, I am only just awake and wanted to make sure I was making sense before I answered. smile

First, thanks for that beautiful rendition of the song. As I wrote on the Cloud, it makes me think of a Jazz tune. Am I right in that is your style of playing, or is it all-encompassing.

I had to smile, when I read your idea. I related it to my wife Dondra and she smiled from ear to ear that a few words of love would create such a stir of emotions and such pretty music.

Later today, I plan to add your version to the blog, if I have your permission.
