Topic: Blues Song for beginner
Gidday,
Could you clever people give me an idea of a very well known 12 bar blues song.
I`m helping a learner,so a simple one would be good.
Thank you very much.
look forward to your reply.

Does "Hit the Road, Jack" qualify? I'm don't have enough knowledge to know what "12 bars" means, but I recall this was an easy one to learn, with a simple A > G > F > E chord progression.
Rock me baby , Kansas city .walking my blues away all three good 12bars , Johnny b good and roll over beethoven are 12bar but rock n roll tempo
Look here at 12 bar examples.
Thank you kind people.

Hey thanks for that baddie,it`s a great help. good site.
Hey, Easy, if you know the strum pattern for a 12 bar blues tune then you can play them all. A 12 bar blues tune can be played in any key and can be played as slow or as fast as necessary. Try playing this pattern using all 7 chords - E7, A7 and B7 or some other key. Have fun!
