Look after the voice Phill, I'll look forward to hearing this if you record it.
i will record it hopefully in the next week or so, it's in waltz time if you'd like to try it. isnt it funny how songs start out as one thing and end-up as another. i wrote the first verse last week and the rest tonight. they werent meant to be one song but hey ho. i'd like to put a bridge in somewhere. maybe tomorrow?
Thumbs up !
Good song. How do you come up with those chords?
Love the lyrics. I must admit, after reading the title and the first verse it went in a completely different direction than I thought.
Nicely constructed, Phill.
I noticed that Cdim and F#dim are shown as the same in your charts, and I've never played either chord that way. I love variations like this.
Thanks for you replies, I don't have the faintest where they come from, all I can say is when a line comes into my head I write it down till another line may interact with it, then another etc till nothing else comes to mind.
As for the chords if I have a tune in my head I'll find the notes then search for the corresponding chord.
I was rather surprised myself when C diminished and F# dim turned out to be the same, not being that deep into the tech of music. I actually play the C dim on the 8th frett and C dim as the window shows.
I must admit it took a swerve from where I thought it was heading too. I don't start songs with a plan so they go where they will.
