That's some serious harmonica work, Badeye ... thanks for posting. It's too bad that some of the comments below it are so crazy. It would be nice if folks could just enjoy good music for what it is.

Unfortunately, there's at least one in every crowd.

Five stars, Badeye! I really like the percussive use of the mouth organ behind the vocals ... great feel to this one!
Ridiculous cold here in the Valley this morning, eh? Good day to stay in and strum.

Nice, badeye. I don't know of too many blues masters who played a 12 string.
Makes me nostalgic for the mid 60's and my time as the only white guy in a blues band, playing those "clubs" whose walls had to be braced from the outside and where the guys had to pee in a trough (if there were "facilities"):).
Didn't know you did these Friday night "Blues Fixes"! I'll be sure to "tune in again" next Friday night!

LOVE me some Lead Belly - such an incredible influence for so many musicians
Good tune by him,I think thats the first 12 string I have seen in that era.
Great song!
First time I heard this was on a record by Long John Baldry. As others have already said, there wouldn't have been too many 12-strings around in 1944, let alone being recorded for blues.
