Welcome to Chordie. If you go to the resource section you'll find a chord chart and variations of the chord selected. Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the reply. I did go to the resource section before posting. I was hoping there was a resource that compiled all of those links into one PDF.
As a side note, I do have to say this site has great resources. Especially for chords and their variations. In fact, this is the only place I have been able to find that. So thanks for being so awesome.
Howdy Harry, and Welcome to Chordie!! Thanks for your comments.... it's nice to hear how "Awesome" we are once in awhile.
You might check out this link which might be specifically what you were asking about:

Something like 7 pages of fairly complete diagrams that you can use for reference. I personally carry a book from Flame Tree Publishing, titled: Guitar Chords, edited by Jake Jackson, ISBN# 1-84451-392-0 www.flametreepublishing.com
Which I find handy to toss in the old gig bag so if I happen to be off somewhere and somebody asks "what the heck is that chord you're playing?" I have the visual aid to support my contention that I didn't really just make it up.... or goof it up.
Take Care, and again Welcome to Chordie.
Doug
Ah, thanks for the excellent response. That is exactly what I was looking for. And I will definitely be looking into getting that Guitar Chords book.
Howdy…
Is there a way to add a few more diminished chord diagrams to the chords page. I see there is a listing in the A Chords section, but not in other keys.
Thanks so much.
Howdy surferguy and Welcome to Chordie!
I kinda thought someone would step in here and answer your question, but guess not.
I'll take a shot at really confusing you (I still don't know how to add to the chord chart by the way).... First off though let's take a look at diminished chords and maybe give you a hint that will help you get them without having to refer to a chart in the first place.
Because we have a chart for the Ao (the little "o" designating diminished) we'll start with it.
The A Major triad is built from the root 1st (A), 3rd (C#), 5th (E)
The A minor triad is built from the root 1st (A), b3rd (C), 5th (E)
The A diminished triad is built from the root 1st (A), b3rd (C), b5th (Eb) There is a pattern. When you see a Major chord that you need to make diminished, play the minor and flat the 5th. That should hold true up the scale.
Diminished 7th chords are much the same, root 1st. b3rd, b5th, bb7th (double flat 7, which in A is a Gb)
Us old arthritic guys just play the minor or minor7 and mute the rest.
There is some good info down in the theory section that you might find interesting (if not more confusing than me).
