I heard great news that both my kids are coming for a visit this week so I wrote this for them. I think I let a little of my memories of coming home come into it too. Hope you like it.

Lovely sentiments Jets!

I drive pass my old home several times a week, and always feel sad {That Our Gang} have all moved on! I hope the new young couple have as many happy times within thoses walls, with music laughter and love as we did!

So to catch you both up, it was a great visit. My daughter got to spend a bit more time and pal around with her mom. My son came in and we tried to cram in as much as we could. It's kind of tough the whole weekend trip that you want to do so much but it was a lot of fun to have the whole family together again. It does feel like too much is missing now like but I guess that's what empty nesters have to put up with. They liked the song and I plan on recording it next...it's kind of bluesy and I like it just because it reminds me of their visit...especially the line, "It was like I just got there and now I’m gone" . So he's back in Texas and she just crossed into Mississippi and is on her way to New Mexico where her boyfriend has a new job teaching.
