Wife wanted me to go shopping yesterday, said I would if we could stop in at GC. Well did not walk out empty handed.

Nice amp, but I can see from the photo what your headache problem's coming from.... volume's too high! Fender amps are fantastic, peavy is no slouch either, that acoustisonic has plenty of headroom to literally fill the room and like you said tons of effects to fiddle with.

Loud goodies,does your wife have any single sisters? Your peavey looks the same as mine I bought about 1985 but it has Peavey Decade on the front Puts out the sound good with my strat. Happy New amp day.

You've got a nice upgrade there from your Peavey, with more power / headroom, great effects, and that full fender tone. And ... because you brought this home, your wife may never ask you to go shopping with her again! Sounds like you're a winner all the way 'round!

They had marked it down from 499. to 449. and I bought it for 429.
