Topic: Show time

I had a blast last night, without playing a guitar or singing a note.................... my students put on a show for their friends and family. We went to a local restaurant and had a meal, cleared the tables and then the kids let rip.

'The Babes', 8 year old Lia and 10 year old Gustavo opened the evening followed by 'The Imps', Raquel, Anna Teresa and Daniels (13 year olds). Then Kirill a 14 year old Russian boy who is an incredible lead guitarist (backed by Howard the music school owner) and finally 'The Songbirds', 3 girls 15 to 18 finished the evening. For the final number they did The Imagined Dragon's song 'It's Time' and the Imps joined them to do the 'foot stamp and clap' routine from the acoustic version of the song which only the Imps and I know was going to happen and make a great finale to the evening.

Re: Show time

Sounds like a lot of fun.

You can see all my video covers on http://www.youtube.com/bensonp1000
I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: Show time

Good for you Roger -I can tell how proud you are of your students.

Rule No. 1 - If it sounds good - it is good!

Re: Show time

Hi Rog, you must have taped this for posterity, and the delight of your fellow chordians?

Glad you enjoyed, most fun you've had with your clothes on?

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: Show time

Thanks guys. I did not video the show buy plenty of parents did so I will try and get my hands on some.
