Topic: Android Music Player

Do any of you know of a music player programme (or app as they now call them) for an android that leaves control to me, please? Every one I have tried either plays a song as soon as I select it or plays the next one as soon as the first one is finished (or both). I want to be able to select a song, play it when I want to, then it stop until I select another song.

I am not well versed with all the players, but I'm thinking the only way to do it is to create a playlist. Not even sure if that would do everything you're asking. On most of them you have to stop a song where you want it.


I was using the stock google player until it got too fancy. I wanted a very simple player, no lyrics, pics, links, or anything like that. I ended up with Clean Music Player. It's bare bones simple.

Winamp is still the best overall music player around, I think.   It's available for Android.

I love Media Monkey, but use it on my PC.  dont use to many android things.
I say just get your songs loaded into it and play them as you want.
