Roger , where I live is a hard place to find but I may be able to find a venue. Lets see if anyone else  is interested or wants to give it a go.

Well, it is a beautiful part of the country where you live, but I am not sure how many Members we have within easy travelling distance of you. Lets see what response you get. Fingers are crossed. smile

Re: what about it

That's the only way.  Perhaps you could meet half way someplace.  I guess we need a chordiestock west also.

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: what about it

I have had the pleasure of meeting and jamming with several chordie members and each and every one has been a delight and we had an absolute blast every time. I am looking forward to meeting another one this summer (Amy). I highly recommend it!

Re: what about it

That's a damn good idea! I'm way down in the South East corner of the UK, so also pretty tricky to get to and find. The distances involved here are next to nothing compared to the US, but with our antiquated road network, and volume of traffic, it takes just about forever to get anywhere! The other consideration is the weather, which has been pretty poor for the last few summers - it's hard to plan anything more than a few days in advance.
Is there anyone else out there (in the UK) who might be able to host??

if there is a place like jeff had or you can front a good hotel and  reserve a party room, weather is not a issue,,, unless of course it washes your road out.   All most of us need is a empty room, libations, and you guys over there have excelent choices!, and your instruments.  hell get a connecting sweet, lift the beds against the wall, and you have all you need.
