Topic: Question RE: Chord Chart - Incomplete

Hello all, I apologize for possibly missing something in my first post.

I use Chordie all the time especially for the chord diagrams which are absolutely invaluable.  What I'd like to see is all chords available in the Chord Chart.   As it stands I have to do a Google search using the chord name and the word "Chordie" in order to find the missing ones.  They are there, but why aren't they listed in the chart?  Is it just a logistical problem?

Thanks for the site.

Re: Question RE: Chord Chart - Incomplete

Thanks for the reply Dino, this is the link to the chord chart that I think both you and I are talking about.
I grab the images from here to complete songs in Word format, but there are many missing chords.

Today alone I had to search for about six missing chords.

Re: Question RE: Chord Chart - Incomplete

There are many chords that are there but not shown, I do not know the reason why, but I have a work around that I use:

1. Open a new topic
2. Give it a subject (say Chord but it can be anything)
3. Paste the text file that follows this as the Message,
4. Change the chords in the [] to the ones you want
5. Click on 'Preview'
6. You can then left click on the chord grids for variation and copy and paste.
7. Close the topic WITHOUT submitting it.

Here is the message but to prevent it formatting properly I have entered a space in the last line within the square brackets. i.e. '/ song' should be '/song'. For it to work you have to remove the space.

[song]
{t:Mary}
{st:anon}
[G]Mary had a little lamb, she [C]also had a bear:
I have [G]often seen her little lamb, but [D]never seen her [G]bear.
[/ song]

Re: Question RE: Chord Chart - Incomplete

With the space removed it will appear:

Maryanon

[G]Mary had a little lamb, she [C]also had a bear:

I have [G]often seen her little lamb, but [D]never seen her [G]bear.

And as you can see you have your chord grids to play with.
