Guitar chord forum - chordie → Acoustic → Some help please.....
Hello everyone!
My friend bought me an electro acoustic guitar for my birthday, so I can start learning.
I have a problem which i can not figure out.
I put the battery next to the EQ, but nothing seems to be happening when I play with the EQ.
The sund is exactly the same no matter if I increase the bass or the treble.
What do I need to do?

Apologies if this reply is a bit daft but have you made sure that the battery is in correctly and that you are plugged into your amp?
Sounds a bit obvious but it's all I can think of.

Battery is OK and guitar is plugged into the amp.
Do I need to make any adjustments to the amp?

Turn the volume up a bit so that you can hear it over the guitar. Sometimes if the volume isn't load enough you can't hear the small changes.
Once again sorry if this is stupid.
the only thing I can think of is-
make sure its plugged into the input part on the amp rather than the headphone part.
