Topic: My support of local music

I spent a weekend of Motorbikes and music in Dallas Tx.  Saw about 6 bands. Two of them stand out above the rest.  I bought 2 CD's, & patches, and a T-shirt from a band called MISSILE, and the other band,  THE P-TOWN SKANKS, I bought a shirt from them to show my support.

The P-Town Skanks are  Rockability/psychobilly (new name for the style)  they have a cool groove that is not a heavy sound and you might look them up on YT.  I talked with their stand up bass player a while. Victor was cool.  He can slap da bass like a madman lol  They didnt have a CD yet but said they were hoping to soon. You can hear their stuff here  http://www.reverbnation.com/theptownska … ist_933627

I think I have posted vids of MISSILE in the music section last year.  They have added a second guitarist who looks like Jack White.  Yep I joked with him aobut it and he just shook his head and gave the "yep never heard that befor" LOLOL They all were all a great bunch of guys to BS with.  I thought that was nice since I was visably out of their demographic LOLOL, but man they can work a crowd.

For thoes of ya that are on FB with me I have pics posted.
