Topic: This site is totally sweet!

I came across this site looking for chord charts, and decided to join. This is the best site I've ever seen on guitar help, songs, chords etc. LOVE IT!!!

Yep, I've been coming around for a few years now and I keep coming back because it's not only helpful, but the people are fun.

One of the reasons the site is so fun and useful is that the moderators don't screw around.  With that in mind, I do recommend (if you haven't already) that you make sure you read and follow the forum rules to keep yourself from being banned.  Here is the main set of rules:  http://www.chordie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=15055

Look for the "stickies" (topics with a green background) at the top of each forum section for additional useful info.

Hi spike 20,nice too see you here and welcome too the site.I have looked at other sites also and it seems we are more like a family here and the moderators keep bad language,politics etc. out of the posts.Seems it is user friendly,and they zap spam pretty quick also.We also talk about other things like sports hobbies,fishing etc.

Be careful, if you come here too much they'll make you a mod.  LOL!  Just kidding (kinda tongue I love my "job").  Welcome to chordie!  I was lucky enough to find Chordie and the great folks here at the very beginning of my guitar journey, and I won't ever leave.  GREAT people here!

yes it's a great site, when i joined i was looking for some kind of song writing support, i found it in spades. please avail yourself of all the benefits and assistance chordie affords.

Welcome .  You will find yourself hitting this site at least once a day just to see what people are up to.  Also keep alook out for skype notices, virtural round robin jamming and enjoyment of teling tall tales. yikes cool
