I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: Rokit's red glare

merry christmas russ, your splashing out well. i've just seen a recording set-up by boss with all the fx from the ME 50 and i think 24 tracks. it looks good and quite cheap at under £600, probably cheaper your side of the pond. i've dropped hints to the boss, but she's not picking-up at the moment, spending all my hard earned on grandkids....i've gone right off kids!

talk in the new year buddy?

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: Rokit's red glare

The price sounds about right for your side of the pond, its hard to not spend money on kids at this time of year so grin and bear it have a nice holiday season to you and all your family Merry Christmas buddy smile

Re: Rokit's red glare

Correction I ordered the Rokit 5" set not 6" one inch smaller but it should still fill the bill I did add a double sided pop filter that attatches to the mic stand for the condenser Samson mic Musicians Friend has them for $19.99 and free shipping it is a sturdy gooseneck clamp on quite nice and will be a good addition smile

Re: Rokit's red glare

hi russ, must say i've never used one of those filters. i find (lately) that positioning the mic so that i'm singing across it not into it serves the same purpose. just a tip if anyone gets that problem.

Re: Rokit's red glare

I hooked up the Rokits and did a side by side comparison with the Behringer MS40's it was brutal the Rokits thumped the MS40's and I didnt even have them turnned up all the way so I will use the Rokits for playback on my digital BR8 and the Behringers for playback on the PC Audacity rendering and get the best of both worlds thank you Santa Harding lol
