I thought I would let the members know that microsoft has bought Skype and will be making some changes,they will also be dropping thier instant messinger service.
We should play then. Wayne is home and ready to play any time through Wednesday. Let's do it Saturday or Sunday so that we can do it early enough to let our UK brothers join in. If no one else can host, my job is finally secure enough that I feel like I can pop for a premium membership.

Well I wonder how this will affect quality? will it improve or degrade? I dont use windows messinger at all so that is of no consiquence. I hope we get to keep our original passwords AND not get a bunch of BS spam that was all over MSchat.

Its been a while since i hung out with you guys! I just have to get a good amt of honey-do's done. I be looking for a time.
My fingers are getting soft. My guitar has been in it's case hiding. I need to get it OUT! On the other hand, I do have plans for most of Sunday (morning into the afternoon - my 7 year old is on a competition dance team for the first time and apparently we need to dish out MORE money for EXTRA REQUIRED occasional classes. What did we get ourselves into? ahhhh!). But... let me know when, and I'll do my bestest to be there. I don't care if Skype/Microsoft listens in, as long as they aren't watching when I get drunk and rowdy and start taking the extra layers of clothes off (LOL - kidding guys - if you've been with us on skype, I generally start with a sweater and move down to MAYBE a t-shirt if drinking enough Jack to warm me! ha ha).
How about around 1400 hrs US eastern on Sunday? That's late enough to allow the US people to get some things done but early enough that our UK friends can join as well.
SUN 1300 TX time. Im gonna have to get to bed early sat!,, dont know how well that will sit with the honey do list but Ill prime her up tomorrow. Maybe ill be able to get my young'un to work on a base line an he can play for you also.

I had a bad migraine yesterday - spasms, pain, freaky vision stuff, watering eyes, the whole nine yards. My meds took care of most of the symptoms, but I kept having spasms most of the day. Last night I had such sustained spasms in so many places that I feel like I've gone five rounds with Mike Tyson. My face is still having spasms - which is a little freaky looking sometimes. A bit Igor-like. Yessss master. I'll get the brains.... All this to say that I'm iffy for 2:00, though if some more meds, coffee, and couch time fix me up, I'll join.
I won't be available until later in the afternoon, I must attend my grandsons 2nd birthday party. I will check in when I return home.

Sorry I missed it guys! Friday I came down with this nasty cold... but was still required to do all mom duties. Yesterday, Jim came down with it and was "incapable" of getting of the couch. Somehow, although I still have the cold and feel like pooo, I still had to do everything. Couldn't have sang if I wanted, and the kids wouldn't have let me on. MISS YOU ALLLLLL!!!! NEXT TIME!

This is because germs and viruses know that men are far stronger than women and so they do not attack you as much as they do us.

I had a blast as I knew I would and just wanted to say thanks again to Topdown for hosting. I'm still amazed that I can listen to Roger in Portugal, Scotty in Texas, Zurf in Virginia and Topdown in Florida..........all in quazzie real time.

And you all got to be introduced to the child-induced mayhem that is my neighborhood. Hatchets, baseball bats, fire, trapeze tricks, hat bunnies, and I don't know what else. All the while my left eye and forehead is spasming and I noticed in the window that had my face in it - only half my face was working right. Stupid migraines. Nevertheless, it was a lot of fun. I shouldn't have opened that beer. Less than half-way through and I was falling asleep in the chair.
