Topic: Number System
Sometimes I work with players who use the number system for chord progressions instead of alphabet. Can Chordie use numbers like this? Thanks

I assume you mean the Nashville numbering system and I am afraid that the answer is no. Chordie is a search engine that looks for chords.
If either you or your fellow musicians have any understanding of theory it is fairly easy to convert. This Wikipedia article may help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nashville_number_system
Here is another site explaining the system: http://guitarthinker.com/nashville-number-system/

IF you want to make your sight reading skills rock, learn to transpose from chord name to chord position/number. In other words when I see G-D-C I think I-V-IV. That makes it really easy to transpose in my head. Takes some time learning though, particularly if you see
G - Em7 - A7 - D - F - G
...or something like that.
Thanks for the info.
