Topic: skype

I don't like being this dense but, in responding to the host of the skype group do you use your skype name your chordie name or your real name? ok, you can laugh now.---------------b

Re: skype

Well, if you want people to add you into their skype, you'll need to let them know what you used as your Skype name.  smile  I'm mekidsmom in both places.

Re: skype

I used my real name.   Derek.Zurfluh, but only because I wasn't sure where to do what and figured that privacy is but a scarce memory and maybe not even that.

Re: skype

If you named your Skype name the same as your Chordie name, you're good to go.  Otherwise we all have to guess who you are.

Re: skype

Thanks for the information, I really needed to change my skype name, and tried to do that, but, grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. it seems that you can not change your name and, my trying to do that blocked me from skype last evening. It seems you can only re- register with a new profile and they don't advise that. We will see, sorry i missed the session last evening.  Mekidsmom, I will send you my new name when i get this fixed.     b

Re: skype

You may need to log into the skype portal online - rather than just through the skype program.  I would suggest you attempt to cancel the account you already have, and then re-register to just start all over.  I will warn you, skype's "customer service" leaves a lot to be desired, but if you can get someone on the phone or in an assistance chat they may be able to help you out!  smile  I'll be looking forward to a new contact request!
