Topic: Pipe Dreams

Does anyone know the version of Pipe Dreams played by "Asleep at the Wheel"? It is on the "Collision Course" CD and is one of my favorites to sing and I know the lyric's by heart. I just can't find that song's chord structure anywhere as played by Asleep at the Wheel.

Re: Pipe Dreams

Welcome to Chordie.  I personally don't know the song, but a mod will probably move this to the "song requests" section of the forum where you might have better success at getting an answer.

Thanks for the reply - I didn't know we are supposed to list the guitars we own? or is that just a personal preference?

Just a preference.  That's my signature.  You can edit yours in your profile.
That's quite a collection you have there!

Re: Pipe Dreams

The opening verse is --- So sweet is solitude, beyond compare. When lights grow old, music fills the air. So I'll sit and blow my pipedreams everywhere, baby till my pipe goes out - goes out.

Nobody has heard this song performed by - Asleep At The Wheel?

It's a great song and I just need some help in finding the chords and progressions to pull it off at an open mic night. Anybody??

Re: Pipe Dreams

If you can find the song on YouTube, or similar, post a link to it here and see if that helps.
