Topic: Early Birthday pressy and new guitar day...

had a pleasant surprise from the taxman the other day... a refund of £725!!!

Well after allowing the cheque to clear, I treated myself to a new guitar yesterday as an early birthday pressy (one month early).

A Washburn WMJ20SCE.

Solid Spruce top, rosewood sides and back, cutaway access, Fishman undersaddle pickup and pre-amp...

Was £289 all in...

nice tone, good feel... and a big step up from my beat up Yamaha F310 that I traded in to cover £30 on the purchase price...

have a strict one in, one out policy now... otherwise the dang things would crowd me out in my little flat...

As I was reading your post I thought, hey he still has another 425 to spend! But then I read your policy. That's great if you can stick to it. I myself have no policy and wouldn't abide by it anyhow. I have told myself that I have enough. It just ties up too much fundage.

i've had a tax rebate too, but i'm not going to get much of a guitar for £17......congrats, hope you and your new acquisition have a long and happy life together.
